Fear is Contagious, But So is Hope

white house black and white

I know some people who are upset today. I also know some who are excited. And I know a lot of people who are nervous and afraid.

Regardless of your feelings, when a new president takes office, it’s a significant day in American history.

And with that, I want to encourage you to join me in praying.

Why pray?

Because praying is choosing hope and choosing hope is the one thing we should all be able to get behind today.

Prayer changes things, namely us. And if I have to be honest, that’s always been our biggest problem.

Things may be divisive right now, perhaps they’re worse than they’ve ever been. But we still have a choice for how we will treat the day we’ve been given and the people God has put around us.

Christ is bigger than the president who’s leaving office and the one who’s taking his place.

Reject the fear and fear mongering that is so prevalent right now.

Fear is contagious, but so is hope.

Let’s choose hope today.
